The 8th Wonder of the World!

Levi's Library

Levi wants to make sure you are aware of the "bird feeder" in the corner

Future architect? Builder? Contractor?

Amazing what you can do with a box of blocks on a rainy day.

Getting Ready for Halloween

Levi's great-aunt, Tante Guilou sent him some fun halloween window decorations.

It was a great way to welcome Fall and get excited about Halloween--and of course, Levi wanted to do it "all by myself."

And he did do it by himself...and he was so very proud!

Thanks Tante Guilou for helping us start off the Halloween festivities with a bang!

Chomp.

Our friend Betty sent us this photo of Levi, chomping down on some delicious Elote (mexican corn) at our favorite Mexican restaurant--Castros.

..can you tell how much he loves this?

At the playground

It hit 90 degrees yesterday and Levi needed to cool off (Mommy did too!) since we still don't have any AC in the apartment. So while daddy took a jog, we hit up the local playground...and the awesome fountain for a little water fun.

(sorry for the technical difficulties yesterday. I was trying to post from the good ol' blackberry with little success)

Snow Day 2/10/2010!

We meant to upload these pictures of our snow day weeks ago. This was the first of two (yes, two) snow days in NYC this February. The first time in 6 years that NYC public schools were off!

And of course, Levi took advantage of the fine playground weather.
Behold, the abomidable SNOWLEVI (du du dum)!

He was a little wobbly on his feet at first...

But soon gained confidence and began plotting his next course through the snow drifts:

Mommy taught Levi how to catch snowflakes on his tongue:

First Santa Visit

It was raining buckets on that Saturday, but we were determined to visit Santa. So we hopped on the train, and made the trek through soggy Union Square, and arrived soaked, but excited. Levi had fallen asleep the moment the train started moving, so I'm not sure his level of excitement was the same as ours.

We had heard how awesome the ABC Carpet and Home Santa was--who needed crazy Macy's! and from our place in line, we could see he truly was fantastic. This was the real Santa. No fake beard, garish red coat...no sir, this was Norman Rockwell Santa.

The line was shorter and went quicker than we thought though, and genius parents that we are, we decided after some deliberation to wake up our sleeping toddler, dislodge him from his warm cocoon of a stroller, and shove him into the waiting lap of a strange, enormous, grinning, bear of a man. Parents of the YEAR, right?

As you can see, Levi was less than thrilled with flesh-and-blood version of the man we had been talking up for the past month.

A Swinging Good time!

We are off to Florida in a couple days.  Can't wait to see everyone!
